Creating A Film/documentary Poster

To create my poster I used the online software app 'Canva'. Canva allows you to create a range of products including banners, presentations and posters. I selected a blank poster template and began to play around with some photos I had taken.

After establishing which photo I was going to use I added the title of my production and worked on positioning it in the right place to work around the image.

When I looked at inspiration online for film posters, I discovered that the positioning of the title was not always at the top of the page in the middle as I imagined.

I then added all the information I needed to my poster and came up with this as my first draft. My next step is to ask for some feedback from peers and make some changes.
