Donna Adley (Femme Fatale)
The femme fatale in the film will be wearing a silky red robe as she is going to seduce the main antagonist/protagonist. We have chosen to use these costumes use it for the femme fatale as red is a seductive colour and a silky red robe is seductive like. The point of the silk shows that Donna part of a high social class type of life where she can afford expensive fabrics for her daily wear. The point of the sleeveless and strapless red dress is a seductive type of costume as it is red and it exposes the chest a lot to show a typical femme fatale character. This is because the main antagonist/protagonist is having an affair with Donna.
Loretta Anderson (The girl next door)
Loretta's character will be wearing a typical 40's housewife dress as she is Mitchell's wife. She is the innocent character in the film where her husband is cheating on her secretly. We have chosen to put these clothings together as it brings together a perfect illustration that Loretta is a middle class citizen/housewife. The use of colour shows the era in which they live in. It also tells the viewers that it is more casual wear and what a typical 40's housewife would be wearing.
Mitchell Anderson (Protagonist/Antagonist)
Mitchell's character will be wearing a dull coloured suit. This is because Mitchell is a middle class man who spends most of his life working behind a desk in an office regardless if it's day or night. We have chosen to put this outfit together as it represents a middle class working man perfectly. The use of big, baggy trousers and jacket portrays the era they live in perfectly and the use of a cotton tie shows the cheap material other than normal silk ties that they can afford.
