Makeup health and safety
Health and safety of makeup
Its very important to be aware of health and safety when applying makeup, especially onto other people. Cleanliness and hygiene are the most important things when applying makeup this applies more so if you are using your makeup brushes, mascara's, lipsticks etc on other people. There are a number of guidelines advised to take by professional make artists however some of them are much more extreme and would not apply to many cases. The most important factors are making sure your tools such as brushes are clean so wont contaminate dirt between people which could further lead to outbreaks on the skin. Another thing which can be important is product life spans as they don,t last forever it is important to keep them in date to avoid reactions on skin or possible bad experiences.
You must also make sure to use disposable wands for mascara and lip products to avoid direct germs being transferred between people. If you are doing someones else's makeup using their mascara on them can be a good idea. Its very important to check the person does not have any allergies or has products they don't get on with before using them and then finding out.
For the safety aspect if you are only doing it on a small scale you wont have to worry about the safety of the work place it is in your bedroom.
Overall its a case of making sure all of your brushes are clean and will not infect the other person in anyway and using the correct products for their skin type so that they work well and you are left with a successful outcome.
